Under the
direction of safety director Ted Gitlitz, MBI strives to achieve
a safe working environment for our employees and team members on
each and every jobsite. We look for each employee to provide 100%
effort daily to perform their tasks; however, we want employees
to be able to enjoy life with their families on their time away
from the site as well. This cannot be achieved working under an
unsafe environment. It is imperative for the employees to perform
their tasks without hindrances.
To ensure
a successful safety program, we have installed many facets within
our company. These include a comprehensive safety program; including
training and hazard communication.
-
Our safety director performs a weekly "osha type" inspection
on every jobsite.
- We provide a competent person on site for the duration
of our work.
- We perform daily inspections on all equipment.
- We provide certified scaffold erectors and operators of
equipment.
- We have instilled a safety bonus system to each employee
on a monthly basis.
- We attach weekly safety notices of potential hazards to
each employee's check.
- We perform weekly jobsite safety tool box meetings.
- We provide updated information as it pertains to safety
training.
- Employees must adhere to all OSHA guidelines.
These are
just a few necessary steps we take to achieve a safe working environment
for our employees. Safety on the jobsite is a necessary precaution
to a well run project.
